Cinemagraph Portrait Of Ilford The Cat

The cat love is real in this cinemagraph. We decided to use one of our pet cats, Ilford as inspiration and photograph him in our Los Angeles home. We wanted to use two different yet consistent movements in the GIF and that’s where our record player came in nicely.  Then it became clear that we wanted to mix daylight and tungsten to add that moody yet nostalgic quality of gazing out the window while the sun had just gone down. Over all we can not get over how patient our fuzzy Norwegian Forest Cat was during the process. Big shout out to our Ilfy.
